chilli what kind of manchild are you that kicks someone for pointing out you need get yourself financially straight. you ping almost weekly MULTIPLE TIMES AT EVERYONE about needing donos to run the server and pay for it or else you cant dedicate time to the server. thats when an ADULT realizes they need to get their shit straight because unless you are actually running multiple servers for people on the extra head room your server *should have* for that much money, even during covid when i had to upgrade my own server and pc, you are turning a profit nor net zero server after the associated costs. If you were planning on running the server purely for empyrion even 2 or 3 instances for different games or instances, you shouldve just built a mtx pc. a simple setup with a powerful cpu, lots of ram and a few ssd's wouldve served your purposes for pegasus entirely for a 1/3rd of the cost. instead youve bought a server that should be used by paid server administrators that run 12 modded minecraft servers and get paid for each one, not donos, PAID. and have now put yourself into debt with the expectation that the ppl on the server should be paying it for you which is wrong. you run a server for things like empyrion with the expectation that you yourself will be the one paying most of it when its not a job. donos help but you shouldnt expect them to be a main income source ever. and for the love of god call spectrum and negotiate your internet bill. you dont have to accept an increase without arguing for a better rate. im telling you all this btw because you need to know these things and clearly no ones told you and you havent figured it out on your own. my only advice to you is focus on your own life and financials and sell the alleged server and build and mtx form factor hobby grade server pc so that your electric bill goes down too. even just looking at year over year monthly max players, youre in decline and its not gonna get better with things like space engineers 2 on the way. so either do what i told you or keep pinging for donos as play counts drop further and further and your debt increases more and more.
